Project Scope:
Supertanker Amuriyah burned and sank after being attacked by US Navy jets during the first Gulf War. Together with Mammoet the Amuriyah was cut into 700Mt sections which were then lifted to the surface and backloaded aboard of large flat barges for towage to the disposal yard in Ras al-Khaimah, UAE.
